Atheists who said that reading the Bible made them an atheist, how? Literally there are millions of people who read the Bible daily and still believe in God. So why say that? I mean unless you want to sound smart & edgy

Stupid people do exist and they believe a lot of stupid things. But that doesn’t mean I should start yelling the Earth is flat, exists under a dome, and that a snaked talked a woman into eating an apple.
Is this like saying millions understand that planes use models of the Earth that are round to get to places thousands of times a day but that flat earthers exist. Yes, but the fact that they are people who don’t agree with the shape of the Earth in no way disproves that the Earth is round. In much the same way that millions have read the Bible and walked away believing in God.
